Force International is collaborating with Amuka Ltd, developing Gender Agenda International, an initiative to empower women both within organisations and within local communities. Our focus is on security institutions, but the model can be applied to a wide range of organisations as it is built around identified need following a baseline assessment. Amuka Ltd is owned by Ellie Bird (Lenawarungu), a retired senior police officer from the U.K. who is now based in Kenya where she dedicates herself to empowering women and girls.
